✝ a bra
✝ studs
✝ pliers
✝ a small knife
✝ stretchy fabric (optional)
Total time:
1 hr
Total cost:
about $5 worth of studs
This is fine to wear in public...right?
Start by making a little slit for the stud tine with you knife.
Add the stud and bend the tines down.
Stud more...
...and more.
When I was done I cut off the sides of the bra.
I added two pieces of stretchy lace. You can totally skip this part if you want. In fact, if you have big tatas, I recommend skipping it. Wardrobe malfunctions are not so cute.
Voila!

This is complete genius. I love it!
ReplyDeleteAs I don't have as good as figure as you, I'd add a bit of lace under the bust so it's like those bralet tops that are so popular at topshop!

where did you buy the studs? I've looked at every crafty store in my area and can't find any! I'm too impatient to order online lol
ReplyDeleteHey girl thanks for the great diy! I'm planning on making this but in a bikini top...I just have one question: since you're folding the stud prongs back through the fabric wouldn't that really irritate your skin when you wear it?
ReplyDeleteamazing <3
ReplyDeleteHey, this is nice! I am not too brave to rock this :) great job. I studded a regular top instead: http://whatscraftdoc.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/diy-stud-stud-stud-handbag-and-top.html :)
